All tires must be balanced after mounted on a wheel. All wheels and tires have high and low spots when new. Balancing assures the combination of a tire and wheel visually spins true and will not cause any vibrations at higher speeds. As a tire wears the tire and wheel combination changes weight and density. Therefore rebalancing should be done every 3-6,000 miles to maintain smooth ride and proper wear.
