Snow Tires

Studded Snow Tires are allowed to be run year round in the State of Colorado. There are some states that don’t allow them at all.
Because snow tires are traction designed they typically will wear down much faster than a standard tire. This is why you should change them out with regular tires seasonally.
The Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) has released multiple bulletins regarding 4 vs. 2 snow tires. Any Winter/Snow tire studded or not is only to be installed as a set of 4. Having 2 superior traction and braking tires on the front of a vehicle only, may result in loss of vehicle control, which could cause serious injury or death.
